Final impressions
- Place implant impression copings
- Clear thermoplastic tray by Massad or custom tray or stock tray
- Paint tray with PVS adhesive
- Rigid PVS on palate, tissue areas, and directly over implant copings to act as stops.
- Trim most away most material except for solid stops on palate, tissue both sides, and on copings. Leave just enough for positive seat of copings, do not come up sides.
- Rigid PVS on periphery and have patient pucker and cough for upper or pucker and stick tongue out side to side for lower.
- Trim away any areas of tray that punch through.
- Place rigid PVS in coping areas and light PVS everywhere else.
